- Ensure the PSY Department's achievement of its mission through quality education, community service and research.
- Provide a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership and transparent governance; and maintain national and seek international accreditation.
- Sustain academic excellence and encourage students’ intellectual engagement and continue to provide the necessary learning resources, optimizing their use.
- Attract and retain students who will graduate as responsible and compassionate professionals.
- Recruit and retainskilled and research orientd faculty and provide them with professional development opportunities.
- Provide students with state-of–the-art labs and other facilities and diversify the Department's sources of income, optimizing budget use.
- Substantially increase faculty and students’ research and scholarly output and activities.
- Develop and strengthen the department’s national and international relations.
