STEAM Innovation Lab: Engaging Future Innovators

Effat University’s STEAM Innovation Lab is an enrichment program for high school students that combines academics with fun, hands-on activities in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). Courses are designed to help introduce students to the exciting worlds of STEM and arts through a variety of topics including: energy engineering, robotics, drama, recycled art, business startups, etc.
This enrichment program is a 140 hours program in total spread over two weeks. The Program covers topics such as Cinematic Arts, Emotional Intelligence, Robotics, Cryptography, Energy Engineering, etc. Students will enjoy fun activities and the beautiful Effat University campus, its green areas and campus facilities – basketball, swimming pool, etc.
The enrichment program includes two focus areas – STEM and Art. Each student selects three courses.
Objectives
By completing the program, students will:
- Take part in exciting and hands-on projects.
- Learn important life skills.
- Have a welcoming experience on a postsecondary education campus.
- Experience university life.
