Dr. Fidaa Abed completed his doctoral studies in computer science from the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik and Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany, graduating in 2015. Following his PhD, Dr. Abed embarked on a postdoctoral journey, first joining the Mathematics Department at Technische Universität Berlin, and subsequently moving to a similar role at Technische Universität Munich. In 2016, he assumed the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, University of Jeddah. Presently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Effat University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Abed specializes in a broad array of research areas, including Algorithms, Optimization, Machine Scheduling, Approximation Algorithms, Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Algorithmic Game Theory.
