Dr. Tamer ElSerafi is
currently the Chair of Architecture Department & Director of Master of
Science in Architecture and Urbanism at Effat University. Dr. ElSerafi is an Associate
Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the Architecture Department,
Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. He has several publications in
heritage, urban conservation and sustainable urban mobility. Moreover, he
participated in several international research projects, workshops and
activities with reputable universities in EU and MENA region. Dr. ElSerafi has
worked in different positions at Cairo University including Program
Coordinator-3 for AET, Vice Head for Quality Assurance Unit, Program Assistant
Coordinator for the Double Master Program in Urban Design. Moreover, he is a
practicing architect, and he is currently Partner at Mimar Engineering
Consultancy.
