Research Interests
Dr. Mady is interested in the field of environmental design of buildings, with great concern to the thermal performance and energy efficiency of buildings. Human thermal comfort in interiors and open spaces of great interest to him. His research papers and projects are focusing on enhancing the human thermal comfortability through three stages in building industry. These are:
- Integrating the environmental principles through the simulation programs in the early stages of building design;
- Employing the traditional and contemporary passive strategies and measures to enhance the environmental performance of buildings.
- POE (Post Occupancy Evaluation), through employing Both the subjective and the objective assessment.
