Dina Hasan Alnahdy co-founded " ENTEC" Environmental Technology company in 1995. With a bachelor’s in accounting, Masters in Environmental Management and an honorary doctorate in Environmental affairs and sustainable development from the U.N.F. as well as being a certified LEED consultant and OSHA certified, Alnahdy oversees the strategic direction of ENTEC.
Prof. Ahmed Hassan is the President of ELSEWEDY UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY - POLYTECHNIC OF EGYPT. Previously was the vice president of academic affairs at Egypt University of Informatics. I was previously the Dean of Information Technology and Computer Science School at Nile University. Originally, I am a professor in Ain Shams University, Faculty of Engineering, Computers and Systems Engineering Department. I am also serving now as the chair of IEEE, Egypt section. I served before as the director of the Egyptian Universities Network (EUN) and the director of the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center, EKSEC, Supreme Council of Universities, SCU, Egypt from 2014-2018. My research interests include high performance computing, data mining, software engineering and automatic control. I was the executive director of ICTP (Information and Communication Technology Project in Higher Education) from July 2012 to February 2014 and the vice director since July 2008. My previous jobs include being CEO for Top IT (Microsoft gold certified partner for learning solutions) from 2000-2008. I was a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Consultant in several fields.
Mohamed-Slim Alouini (S’94, M’98, SM’03, F’09) was born in Tunis, Tunisia. He earned his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in 1998 before serving as a faculty member at the University of Minnesota and later at Texas A&M University at Qatar. In 2009, he became a founding faculty member at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), where he currently is the Al-Khawarizmi Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the holder of the UNESCO Chair on Education to Connect the Unconnected. Dr. Alouini is a Fellow of the IEEE and OPTICA and his research interests encompass a wide array of research topics in wireless and satellite communications. He is currently particularly focusing on addressing the technical challenges associated with information and communication technologies (ICT) in underserved regions and is committed to bridging the digital divide by tackling issues related to the uneven distribution, access to, and utilization of ICT in rural, low-income, disaster-prone, and hard to-reach areas.
