Since 2019 Dr. Abdelrazik is an Assistant Professor of Interior Design, Design Department, College of Architecture and Design. He has more than 20-year experience as a university instructor: Teaching and supervising interior design courses as well as the furniture design courses. From 1998 to 2019, he worked as TA, LA, and then a Faculty member in the Interior Design and Furniture Department, Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. Additionally, from 2016 to 2019, he worked as an Assistant Professor, Furniture Design Sciences Program, Faculty of Applied Arts, Cairo Egypt and at the same time, he was an Assistant Professor (Part-time), Interior Design Department, Faculty of Art & Design, MSA University, Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Abdelrazik received his Ph.D. in "Design Sciences" from Braunschweig University of Arts, Germany (2015). He obtained the Master's degree (2004) and the Bachelor's degree (1998) in Applied Arts, Interior Design & Furniture Department, Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt.
In addition to the long teaching experience, Dr. Abdelrazik has many publications, participated in many conferences and academic events, and he is supervising Masters and PhD researchers. In research, Dr. Abdelrazik is interested in the transformation and the interactive design, multi/interdisciplinary studies, cultural aspects as well as design education strategies.
On the practical side, Dr. Abdelrazik participates, supervises, and acts as a consultant of many interior design projects and he has a solid contribution in the furniture design and its industry. Moreover, he is a member of many academic committees, associations, and syndicates.
