Amani Gandour, Ph.D
Joined the Faculty of the Effat College of Engineering, Department of Electric and Computer Engineering at Effat University as an Assistant Professor of physics in 2007. She obtained her Ph.D from Uppsala University, Sweden in 1995, together with a Fil-lic in 1993. Dr. Gandour graduated from the University of Khartoum, Sudan 1986 with a major degree in Mathematics and an Honor in Physics, she received her M. Sc in 1991, from the same uiversity.
Her teaching experience span more than 30 years of teaching physics and mathematics, in the University of Khartoum, Al-Ahlia University, Uppsala University, University of Pennsylvania, and the University of the Sciences.
Dr. Gandour primary research interest concerns Material Physics, Computational Physics, but recently she became very active in the field of Physics Education, where she received grants and performed excellent progresses, especially among physic teachers.
