- A candidate shall be a high school graduate from a certified high school.
- Complete the application form. To apply online, please visit (Effat University Online application).
- Submit the non-refundable application fee of
SR 400, VAT excluded.
- Provide a copy of the English Proficiency Test (iBT TOEFL/IELTS).
- Provide a Copy of the Applicant's Passport.
- Provide two recent passport-size photos.
- The applicant shall not have been dismissed from Effat University, or any other universities, as disciplinary or academic dismissal.

- Certificates must be attested by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Saudi embassy in the country where the applicant graduated.
- All documents must be translated to English.
- Attend a personal interview.

Applicants must provide a proof of English language proficiency to be eligible for college admission through international standardized exams (iBT TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge Linguaskill Test-LANG).
Applicants can apply for the Linguaskill replacement test offered by Effat University (test fees 460 SAR). For more information about the dates of the exams please visit the website: Effat University Testing Center.
Applicants who do not achieve the required score in the English language proficiency tests above, shall study English language levels throughout the foundation year to acquire the required language skills, in preparation for their transition from the foundation to the college level.

International students can apply for one semester or one year at Effat University. The student's eligibility is assessed based on the following admission criteria.

- The candidate studied for at least one year at another university which is recognised by Effat University
- The candidate achieved good academic standing in the preceding years. Commonly, this is a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent (on a 4.0 scale).
- The candidate's home university should permit the program and recognise grades achieved at Effat University as contributing to the candidate's degree.

If an internatinoal students student is coming to EU for a semester and the home university or study abroad provider is not paying the tuition, the student is eligible for 20% scholarship. Please visit the Fees Page for more details about the cost before and after the scholarship.
Notes:
- Average Annual Tuition Fee may will be change according to registered credit hours.
- E-Learning Resources fee is USD 184 / semester, and it is not included in the scholarship.
- Home university or a sponsor are welcome to pay the tuition or housing fees if an official letter of confirmation is provided to the Management of Finance.

International candidates who are interested in an exchange at Effat University need to be formally nominated to Effat University by the home university before they can apply. International students can apply if:
- The candidate is studying at an undergraduate / grdauate level.
- The candidate has good academic standing (3.0 GPA) and has completed at least one year of continuous study at his/her home institution before participating in the exchange.

Effat University welcomes students from international students who wish to spend a period of time in Effat University on any of the undergraduate or graduate programs offered by the university. Candidates can apply to Effat University for a place as a registered Visiting Student. As a registered Visiting Student, you become a member of the dynamic community at Effat University. Candidates will not be awarded a degree or any other qualification as a Visiting Student, but the university can provide a transcript, for credit purposes at the home institution. Also, the University would be able to confirm that you were registered as a Visiting Student. As a Visiting Student you do not matriculate at Effat University but your name is registered as a Visiting Student and you will be affiliated with one of the university collages.
For graduate students, there are two possible options available as a registered Visiting Student: the candidate can either follow the curriculum of an undergraduate course, or undertake a period of research under an assigned supervisor.
