​AACSB Accreditation

Effat College of Business successfully acquired AACSB accreditation for all its undergraduate and graduate programs in Fall 2021 for a period of five yea​rs. Effat College of Business is committed to fulfill its mission according to the standards of AACSB International.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International is the global leader in business education accreditation standards. AACSB International accredited schools offer programs that meet and exceed the quality expectations of students, employers and stakeholders. Less than 5% of business schools worldwide have achieved accreditation status representing great respect for those who have attained it.

ABET Accreditation

Effat University has been pursuing international accreditation with top tier accrediting bodies to ensure that its education, intellectual contribution and services are offered at an international level of quality. In 2016-2017, the Effat College of Engineering obtained international accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The ABET accreditation for the three programs; Electrical and Computer Engineering Computer Science, and Information Systems  extends from 2015 to 2023.

In 2022-2023, the Effat College of Engineering obtained international re-accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The ABET accreditation for the two programs; Electrical and Computer Engineering , and Computer Science extends from 2023 to 2029.

ABET is a nonprofit, non-governmental accrediting agency for programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology and it is recognized as an accreditor by the Cou​ncil for Higher Education Accreditation. ABET accreditation provides assurance that the accredited program meets the quality standards of the profession for which that program prepares graduates.​

NAAB Accreditation

Effat University, Department of Architecture has received the Internatio​nal Certification designation from the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) for the Bachelor of Science in Architecture. ICert was grante​​d in 2019 for a term of six years.

New England Commission of Higher Education

The New England Commission of Higher Education has determined that Effat University is eligible to proceed with an application for candidacy for accreditation within two years. A determination of eligibility is not candidacy or accreditation, nor does it indicate a likelihood of eventual accreditation. Questions about eligibility and the accreditation process should be directed to the President of the Commission.
