Our inspirational President
Dr Haifa Reda Jamal Al Lail has been with Effat University since the very beginning, starting out as a consultant to HRH Princess Lolowah Al Faisal (and later to Dr Marcia Grant), while she simultaneously attended to her ‘day job’ as the first Dean of the Women’s Campus at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah.
Dr Haifa took the reins in 2000 and served as Dean of Effat College until 2009, when she earned the title of President of Effat University.
Known for her unmatched work ethic, her compassionate commitment to students, and her entrepreneurial spirit, Dr Haifa has provided the leadership needed to transform Effat College into the dynamic University it is today, and continues to lead it into the future.
