Foundation Year Tuition
- Effat English Academy Program comprises eight different levels.
- The foundation year offers four levels of the Effat English Academy Program.
- The remaining four are optional and offered on demand. They will be placed at the EEA Program levels based on their scores in the linguistic placement tests. Students may skip a level if they can achieve the required score for the level they wish to skip.

Effat University offers annual health insurance services (Bronze) level upon the request of the student.
Health insurance services
Effat University offers health insurance services (Bronze) at a starting nonrefundable rate of $600.
This fee is subject to change based on rates received from health insurance providers.
Payments Policy:
- Overseas students admitted to any of Effat University's programs are obligated to pay their full tuition fees, which are assessed each semester based on the student's major and the number of registered credit hours.
- Effat University reserves the right to withhold student services including Blackboard and Banner access to students who do not complete their due payment as per their payment plan or if account status is delinquent.
- Effat University is unable to waive tuition or fees for students who register on Banner but fail to attend their classes or stop for any reason without completing and submitting the required clearance form to the registration office.

Effat University Guidelines for Submitting Financial Support Documentation
When submitting your Student Visa application, you will be asked to submit evidence that you meet the financial requirements.
Types of Financial Support That are Accepted:
- Savings deposit and checking accounts
- Bank letters or Solvency certificate from bank - Time/fixed/term deposits or government bonds available for withdrawal at any time
Financial support documentation must include:
- Date of issuance (no earlier than 3 months before the start of your intended first term at Effat University).
- Student’s name (or account holder’s name if sponsor is someone other than student).
- Official letterhead and must include signature/stamp of an administrative official.
- Available balance of individual liquid accounts.
- Certified, professional translations for all financial documents not issued in English.
Types of Financial Support That Financially Accepted:
- Savings deposit and checking accounts.
- Bank letters or Solvency certificate from bank - Time/fixed/term deposits or government bonds available for withdrawal at any time.
Cancellation due to the visa application
If the student visa application is rejected, the student is eligible for full refund excluding the application fee based on the following conditions:
Proof of meeting the visa requirements is provided.
Proof that the visa application was submitted no less than 2 months prior to the course starting date.
Official proof of rejection by the Saudi Arabia Embassy.
Cancellation by the student
Refunds for courses dropped during the add and drop period (within the 1st to 2nd week of the semester are eligible for a full refund)
There is no refund for withdrawals from individual courses or more after the add & drop period.
- All registered and enrolled students who want to withdraw from the university or withdraw for a semester, during the 1st and 2nd week of the semester, are obligated to pay an administration fee of SAR 2500 ~ $663.
In the event that a student withdraws from the university or withdraws for a semester, the following refund schedule will be applied:

During the 1st and 2nd week of the semester
100% of the tuition fees

75% of the tuition fees

During the 4th & 6th week of the semester
50% of the tuition fees

During the 7th & 8th week of the semester

Deferral to later session
- If the student has not yet arrived and notifies the University that he/she wishes to defer to a later session prior one month from the startinfg date of the program, the tuition fee may be carried forward for one year. Should the student choose to defer for a second year, the deposit will be forfeited and treated as a withdrawal. The student will then need to apply again for a later session and pay a new tutition fee.
- It is the students responsibility to familiarize themselves with the financial regulations of the university. This includes payment of fees and schedule of fees.
Payment of Refunds
The refund request should be submitted with the following documents: International Bank account information IBAN, Bank SWIFT code, and copy of passport.
The refund request will be processed within four weeks from the date of its submission.
Approved refund request will be paid in Saudi Riyal to the bank account of the authorised beneficiary. This should be the same bank account from which the funds were originated.
The University will not compensate the payer of the fees for any exchange rate differences or funds transfer cost.
All students are required to pay full tuition fees for a course 1 month prior to start date.The payment can be made by:
