Dr Burhan ULUYOL is an Associate Professor at the Effat University and recipient of
Outstanding Young Scientists Award by Turkey Academy of Sciences (2018-2021).
Previously, he was an Associate/Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at Istanbul Sabahattin
Zaim University, International Islamic University Malaysia and University Kuala Lumpur,
respectively. As a young Academician, he has published 4 books, 16 book chapters, more
than 75 SCOPUS & WoS indexed (SSCI, AHCI, ESCI) journal publications and attended
more than 60 International and local conferences as presenter or invited speaker. His publications have received more than 350,000 reads based on ResearchGate and more than
3350 citations based on Google Scholar (as of November 2024). Meanwhile, he has supervised
more than 25 postgraduate students. He was awarded by the IIUM for publishing highest
number of articles in citation-indexed journals in social science category in year 2017. He was
named for top 1% reviewer in years 2018 and 2019 by Publons (WoS). His research interest
is the empirical studies of Islamic Banking and Finance.
