Dr. Narjisse Kabbaj

  • Research Interests:

My research primarily focuses on developing numerical models for multiphysics interactions, with a particular interest in mechanics and energetics. I am currently working on creating efficient mathematical models for atmospheric water harvesting using desiccant materials, aiming to optimize water extraction from air and provide solutions for water-scarce regions. In my previous experience as postdoctoral fellow at KAUST, I developed low-cost computational models for Nanosecond Repetitively Pulsed (NRP) discharges to enhance our understanding of plasma-assisted combustion and thermal non-equilibrium reactive flows. During my Ph.D in LAPLACE laboratory, I developed a multi-physics simulation platform for welding arcs in electrical devices. Funded by SIEMENS, I provided numerical support for estimating the effects of thermo-physical properties of Air Copper mixture plasma.
