Dr Zain Completed his PhD in Computer and Information Technology in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Malaysia (2013). His principal research interests lie in the field of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Cloud computing, and wireless networking. He is currently working on Big data and Internet of Things (IoT). In the same time, he is working on providing a mechanism for utilizing IoT for water & energy applications. He also tries to analyze the obstacles that minimize the adoption of these technologies in Middle East countries and tries to find the solutions to overcome these problems.
Dr. Zain used to work as a researcher in several universities in Malaysia. He joined Effat university in 2012 and he is still working there as Chair of Computer Science Department.
