Research Project: Macat

Macat

Macat-LogoMacat is an online publisher that provides analyzed versions of history’s most prominent, influential texts. With a focus on humanities, arts and social sciences, Macat analyses are available to university students, scholars, and lifelong learners everywhere.

Through its E-Arabization Research Center and the English & Translation Department, Effat University has taken on the role to contribute to this scholarly mission through providing quality and easily-accessible educational materials for the general public. This is done through a collaborative effort between Effat University and Alexandria Trust to produce quality translated versions of 15 notable works.

Project Activities

The E-Arabization Center has signed an MOU with the Alexandria Trust, one of whose major projects, Dar Al-Rasheed, has embarked on translating into Arabic the MACAT analyses of seminal works in the Humanities and Social Sciences. As the leader of the E-Arabization Center, the College of Science and Humanities has translated the following MACAT titles from English into Arabic.
