CEWS aims to enhance all students' academic English skills including writing, speaking, listening and reading.
Topics covered by the CEWS include:

  • Essay Writing
  • Research Techniques
  • Referencing
  • Avoiding Plagiarism

CEWS offers weekly workshops, one-to-one or group consultations and proof-reading. Additionally, CEWS provides software technology to improve English skills, such as: Ginger (grammar checker). Students can also receive extra English language support from peer-tutors through the ILC.
